Chat rules
Last updated 1 November 2026
Friends & chat in the AdRaze browser is for talking with people you know. Messages are encrypted on your computer before they're sent, and we don't read them. That's why safety depends on these rules and on you reporting anything that's wrong.
This isn't allowed
- Threats, violence or calls for violence.
- Harassment, bullying or hate against someone for who they are.
- Sexual content involving or aimed at children. It's always reported to the police.
- Sexual content the recipient hasn't asked for.
- Fraud, scams, phishing and harmful files or links.
- Spam and advertising.
- Spreading other people's private information, pictures or addresses.
- Pretending to be someone else.
- Anything else that's illegal.
How to report
Open the menu on a message and choose Report, or report a person from their profile. Only the reported message is sent to us, nothing else from the chat. The person won't find out that you've reported them, and you can block them at the same time.
What we do
Every report is reviewed by a human. If someone breaks the rules, we can remove content, give a warning, or suspend the account for 7 days, 30 days or permanently. If a child is in danger or a crime has been committed, we contact the police.
